power lag
i have a dx motor. i just recently use the seafoam thing and did an oil change. afterwards i could definately feel a difference. then my check engine light came on for o2 sensor, water temp, vss, and fuel injectors. and my car started to accelerate slower. i mean its not that strong in the first place, but i could really feel the car picking up slower, through all the gears. fixed all the CEL and the car is still doing the same thing. everything else seems fine, but the rpm and acceleration is really slow.
i have a feeling its like what happened to my car... the piston rings are shot and were held together basically by carbon n the seafoam cleaned it n now theres a nice gap im the rings where the carbon used to be.... make sense?

What exact CEL code/s did you get? And what did you do to fix the CEL. On the B series, I got codes for the O2 sensor, vss, and the alternator. This was because my secondary O2 sensor was bad and grounding out. It could be because one of your O2 sensors is bad, possibly a fuel injector. The only things that you have mentioned that woud contirbute to power lag would be the O2 sensor or the fuel injector.

the CEL codes i got was 1, 6, 16, 17. i fixed 1 by converting from 4 wire o2 to 5 wire o2. for 6, i just cleaned the water temp plug, for 16, i used that fuel injector cleaner, and for 17 i switched the vss.
if my rings were shot because of the carbon, would the power lag happen instantly, because i didnt feel the power lag til about 4 days later.

Like he said, plus your valve seals/seats could be now leaking since you may also have holes in your valve seals/seats. Do a compression check and see how things are going. If that comes out well, then do what HCivicSi23 and check injectors or run cleaner through them but I'm sure just "switching" injectors isn't all that easy for some people. $ and access to them is sometimes a problem. Start small.
And HCivicSi23, told ya it was the flywheel

i switched the injectors but still the same problem. i wont be able to get a compression test until next week, because my buddy is out of town. is it bad driving the car like that?
i havent compression test the car yet. but in the mornings, when i drive the car, its completely fine. i dont even feel the power lag until the motor starts to warm up, like 15-20 mins after ive been driving it. could it possibly be something else.
