The thing is that Im getting a K24 engine later today, and I dont have something to put it on for now, so I went out and got myself a engine stand. The thing that I need to know is how do I go along and and bolt the engine to the stand cuz they didnt give me bolts. And being my frist time puting a engine on a stand, so some help would be great thanks... and ill try posting up some pics of the engine when I get it later today...

Take the transmission, flywheel, and clutch off. Then bolt the block to the stand using the transmssion bolts.

It has been my experience that you pull the tranny off the motor and use the tranny bolts to bolt the engine to the stand. Hope this helps

**EDIT**

^^^beat me to it

Of course they didnt include any bolts...they dont know which engine youre going to put onto it...

To put it shortly, you need the engine's transmission bolts
Yes, you remove the transmission, and bolt the engine to the stand.
I suggest you bolt the stand's mount on, while on the floor...how you get that up onto the stand itself is your problem

x2 ... I just did this with an LS block I picked up and it only took 2 people. Just need 2 people who can lift somewhat heavy object and have good coordination to get the stand into the mounting hole on the base. Lock it in with the pin they should have given you and you are set... bend and the knees and keep your back straight lol. Dont want to get a hernia
