Default D16y7 Head Cleaning

How should I go about in cleaning my head. My headgasket has a leak, and i have coolant oil mixture in my head. Should I get it hot tanked? and check for cracks? or is there a cleaner specially made for cleaning head?

Just pull the head, and go out and buy some rags, degreaser, and/or carb/choke cleaner and ge to work on those valves.

Hot tank it only if you have the money, time, and knowledge of a place that does that.

Would you recommend just getting it hot tanked? I got it hot tanked before I put this head in like a couple months ago... the reason why my head gasket leaked was probably because I reused my head bolts.. I know this place that just does it for like 20 dollars

You can try replacing the bolts and getting a new head gasket.
