New to Site, But from what I have viewed so far, I am impressed at the knowledge base. I have been given the run around by my local dealer with an issue regarding the front drivers side seat belt, I was told that the seat belt control unit needed to be replaced after I already replaced the rail assembly, lifetime warranty apparently does not apply to the control unit. how do i disable or replace this unit? the beeping is making me go crazy.

 

My 91 was/is doing the same thing. I opened up the unit and pulled out "noise maker". I want to find a new control unit but can find any part #'s. Do you have any ideas? My belt wont retract for egress.

 

I called Honda America and found out that it is covered under lifetime warranty, no matter how many miles or if you are the original owner. so take it to the dealer. One word of advice my local dealer has had no idea and they replaced the rail assembly even though I told them it was the control unit, my car has been at the dealer for 3 weeks now because they messed up my dash system(speedometer,fuel gauge), the number listed is 81831-sm2-A03 good luck.

I just found a used module so that Honda won't see I pulled the little noise maker out.
