Default Boosted h23 question

Hi all, Im running an h23 turboed prelude with s300 on my car. Im running off of the wastegate spring witch is set at 9psi. 1st gear 3rd gear and 4th and 5th I can run car to 7k without any problems. 2nd gear car cuts out at 6500rpm for what reason I dont know. Is this boost cut or what any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Pat.

sounds like a problem with the tune. take it back to your tuner and have them look at it

When you say its cutting out what exactly do you mean? you possibly could have the rev limiter set to low, or he could have a boost cut, and you could be spiking at the top of 2nd. Although i dont see that happening if its not happing in the higher gears. I also think its a tuning issue.

well I just replaced timing belt and it started doing it right after that. 2nd gear car seems to shut down at 6500 rpms but all the rest of the gears its good untill 7k. Ive got all of my marks lined up and checked the dizzy and its set at 16 degrees. Man I dont know for sure what it is. This car has been nothing but a pain in the ***.

Look into the 2 step limiter maybe......I know theres some weird setting for it.
I also know theres the COLD safety catch in the ECU's program to prevent over-revving while cold or at a stop.....
