Is it true that Rsx-s's can run dangerously lean running a race header with the hondata reflash?

the 02-04 no
05-06 yes
then again 02-04 has different stages of reflash

 

well the last two threads on CRSX made by people who had 05-06s with reflash werent that lean, only around vtec crossover then the go back to running semi rich. you wont be dangerously lean. you should be fine but i suggest saving up and getting kpro!

 

they might not run lean but i've seen (in 2 cases) that someone had a i/rh/e/reflash on a 05 and they were able to spit out a ball of blue fire when the get on it
granted that it looks cool but i don't think its good for the car
i guess different cars, different scenerios

 

hmmm.. i have a 04, so from what you heard it's really only the 05-06? And also on clubrsx they only list it is 02-04 type s reflash not which stage reflash it is. Do you know which one it is?

Two programs are available. They both are based on the performance program above and vary only in rev limits:

K20A2-2: 5200 VTEC point and stock REV limit
K20A2-4: 5200 VTEC point and 8600 rpm REV limit
What if you have modifications?

We have tested short ram, cold air intakes, headers, test pipes and exhausts and have done some preliminary work with ITR cams. The programs have been tested to work well with any intake.

 

oh aight, do u use the reflash or know anyone that does? How is it?

i know someone that has a reflash
pretty noticable difference in performance coupled with some bolt-ons
