hi guys. getting car tuned with s300 soon, just wondering what to expect. mods are smsp header with no cat just b-pipe extended, mugen intake, rc 440 injectors and the hondata s300. also have a clutch and aluminum flywheel if it matters

car has 65,000 miles. runs very good. oil changed every 2000 miles for the past 2 years with mobil one.

Depends on how conservative the tune is, I'm taking a shot of 182-190 range.

 

I also have been thinking about 185-190. I'm also planning a 30 or 40 shot from a zex kit soon enough.

 

what kind of 1/4 mile time is that? not really into drag racing too much just curious.

the zex kit will be on a tuned map specifically for the shot, you think it will still be really bed for the motor.

 

440cc injectors on a stock B-Series... Why?

 

got them at a killer price and plus I won't outgrow them. when and if the motor goes it will probably become a 2.0

Yes, 65k miles is still very young to just kill your motor. But if you do it, have a video cam ready so we can see eRR blow matey!

 

Get an EG shell and put a built motor in it and drag race it, leave your ITR alone and take it to a couple of HPDEs and have the best of both worlds.

 

i am guessing anywhere between 165-178

13.6 on good tyres.

I had a tune similar to yours once. It was a very solid 185 on a Dynojet, and you might be able to add a couple more to yours because my car was still using a cat.

Hell, for that matter, the K20A still uses a cat, too.

PM user People Mover, I'm sure he's got MORE than enough experience with NOS.

I say do it, and with those 440cc injectors, you won't run out of fuel when the 2 mix.

I also believe he made a long, detailed post at some point. It will either be listed as user RealTypeR or People Mover. Check it out!!! Lots of good info in there, and the link to it might even be in the FAQ.
