ARP main bolts in semi built D16z6?

I was wondering if the bolts are needed in a 2-300HP d16z6.

Yes.. I blew my head gasket using head bolts at 277 hp.

He was asking about main bolts, and no they are not needed. If you do get them you'll need a line bore ($250 + ).

What a line bore. What are the main arp studs to big.
