Default can i use 2 oem headgaskets to lower compression?

hey guys whats up? i am currently building my all motor d16y7 shooting for 150 whp, anyways, i blew it up and just need it to be running, im putting in 76mm p29's, but compression will be a bit too high for now, i have no source of tuning yet, so untill i swap heads for the built one, i need to drop compression around 10:1, but those thick hg are expensive, so.......has any1 ever taken apart a 3 peice oem gasket and used two of the layers onto another hg? so it would be 5 layers? haha probably a stupid question, but maybe? if i have to will just for the extra 100 bucks and get cometic or something

I believe member "jaker" has done something like this years ago. The secret is using copper spray apparently.

Use it but not for too long. Just try to get that new head on there quick, you don't wanna risk damaging anything else.
