With all the thefts going around, i'm now considering selling my R. It's a 97 with 23k miles and is bone stock except for a greddy exhaust (have the stock exhaust too). I haven't really found a similar year mileage ITR to compare it to as for the price. Your opinions will be appreciated thanks. I'll probably end up going back to BMW with either a used e36 M3 or maybe even the new Mini Cooper S if I can find one.

Thanks, I'll take some pics this weekend after i clean her up. It's funny I've put 13k on it since November, when I bought it. Bought it as my daily driver so I could keep the M3 for the track. The ITR is just so fun I rarely drive the M3. Have yet to track the ITR though, she's still a virgin.

Hah, i have 97 #0059...I was thinking about selling mine too...26,000 miles.AEM intake,Toda flywheel, Exedy clutch, FiberImages CF hood...And the Spoon 4-2-1, Carsound cat, Spoon lowering springs and lower tie bar coming soon...Sick of worrying about theft and it's already been stolen once..I'm thinking about it, but it's gonna be hardt to part....

98 R w/ 29K...spoon header, spoon 16" rims w/ Azenis, hi flow cat, Tanabe Racing medalion, eibach springs (pro kit I believe), spoon lower tie bar, rear upper bar JDM ITR, JDM shift boot, spoon rad car/thermostat, Toda Cam gears (Gen II), Field Vtec/Fuel Controller, ES motor mounts, fuel cut switch and alarm...there's probably more too...

I sold my 97 with 30K miles for $18,500; however, it took a long time to find a serious buyer--about four months. When a buyer did show up, there was no bargaining, and he knew it was a decent price especially considering the car's excellent condition. There were a few lookie-loos every day asking about the car. One guy wanted to trade his Corvette.

 

I've got 2k in the bank. I am ready to buy.
