integra type-r front end conversion

Default integra type-r front end conversion

does anybody know if it is possible to do an ITR front end conversion to a 97 civic, and if it is where can i get one, and how much.

Are you serious? The two body styles won't flow well. I hate not knowing what car I'm looking at.

it's hard to do, you'll need the front end from an integra, and you'll have to cut your civic and integra fenders in half, then weld opposite fenders back together. Once you've welded them you have to sand them smooth. use body filler, then sand that. THEN you need to use MORE bondo. Then sand that down, and prep it for paint.

Take it easy for the kid.

Probably has been watching a lot of Fast and Furious clips

To the OP....the conversion is more trouble than you really think.

Expect to pay around $500-700 or more for just installments...then you need a paintjob

With all that money, I'd recommend just investing into suspension works

Do the typical H-T thing, paint match your trim peices, door handles, moldings, Get a front lip you like, and paint match it. Get some foglights, and some tow hooks.

On this site it's very rare to see a body kit that is approved of, Buddy club and BYS are the only ones I can think of, and they are "oem"-ish.

Take a look around the app/cos forum and work out how YOU want your car to look. Gather different aspects from a number of cars that stand out to you and implicate them into your car.

A nice suspension, factory lip kit, 99-00 front end conversion, decent set of wheels, OEM fogs, CTR/Spoon wing, JDM headlights, all very very decent things to make your Exterior look nice.

But do what you want, its up to you.

I agree, now that you have a fun motor. Get some adjustable struts and some good springs. And then get some swaybars.

Slow, Good handling cars are WAY more fun to drive than fast cars that don't handle well.

Please tell me where you can find a Type R JDM front end for 500 to 700. I really need to start shopping where you do.

Pretty sure he was talking about the labor, but even then that sounds hella low.

Welding fenders and custom fitting front ends will cost way more.

the front end alone is $1200. Labor might double that if he wanted it to look good.

besides, he's decided it's not worth it. Let's move along.
