Default Wich is better D16Z6 or D16Y8 I am staying single cam ??????

Ok I have given this a lot o thought but I came to the conclusion do to prices and the fact I am only doing this for my own pleasure and and fun and not to race. I am going to stay SOHC but would like to know which SOHC Vtech engine is the better of the 2 the D16Z6 or the D16Y8. Please let me know some more about each of these engines. Thank you for your input guys

the y8 just says honda on the valve cover, your best bet is to get a z6, thye y8's are known for spun rod bearings, but there have been a few y8's that have put down some good #'s when boosted.

but there are some things that can be done to the y8 oil pump to help it flow better and lubricate the internals alot more....
