in Honda's term, "cornering light" it was part of their accesory list.

I heard they just stay on, just like the 5th gen rear side bumper lights. They just help you light up curb level. when turning But check the Archives. "cornering lights"

Yup he is correct. For both 4th and 5th Gen Accord, it was an optional JDM item to have the intersection/corner lights. I know the 4th gen OEM & JDM bumpers have a faded template cut-out from the inside of the bumper. I have the 5th gen bumper if you need it, I will check tomorrow if it came with the cut-out template for the intersection lights, it should since I have an extra JDM CD6 bumper. Aight , laters.

USDM wagons had that option as well

An OEM bumper should have the marks on the back of it for the lights.

EXcord had his installed fairly recently

Oh oh.... that's mines right there..^^^^^^....the front end came from japan, so those were cut from the factory.
My friend wanted to have the lights so bad, we measured my "jdm bumper" and cut his with a driller and a knife. Final result can be seen below.... his bumper is OEM (not aftermarket) with vin number on top, and didn't have the cut-out line inside.

I'm in the market for a new front and rear bumper. Problem is that everyone sells those "F-14 jet fighter" looking fiberglass kits that look crappy. Additionally I am looking for bumpers made of urethane or something that will give and flex instead of break apart like fiberglass. I like the stock lines of the car and don't want to stray away from that flow. Any suggestions besides a stock replacement?

gianinline - Your car looks nice. Not too loud and really compliments the car's bodylines. Great job on the looks.
