Default oem oil cooler questions

I have an oil cooler from a type r, I also have the adapter thread for the oil cooler (labled 15). My questions is what else do I need. I see that the inside diameter of the the oil cooler is bigger than the thread size of the filter thread. Is the part labled 12 just a retention bolt (labled 12) for the filter extension and the oil cooler to hold the cooler in place. or is there something that i dont have that I need.

Sorry dude, don't know the answer to your q, I'm just curious why, if you're going to bother taking things apart that you just don't do a real oil cooler. That stock one really doesn't do much. It's just a kinda crappy heat exchanger.

The ITR and the GSR oil cooler are the same thing, as long as you have all the parts labelled in the picture, it will work.
