I'm sure lots of people because Tokicos are like your Sk2s, using rear washers. That means same valving.

The rear strut forks required a diff bolt when i bought my friends used tokicos off his ej1 for my ej6. Thats the only issue we ran into.

i might be picking up a set of eg kyb agx's for my ej8 so i just wanted to make sure they were vavled somewhat the same. i know the part numbers for the eg and ej8 application is different though. When i had my old agx's my GC's fit perfectly tight on the shocks. But on the eg shocks my gc's fit loosely which i know isn't a problem becuz once the car is off the jack the pressure will hold it steady.

my bro have a set of 92-95 shocks on his 96 civic, you need washer or tighten the bolts for the rear shocks.

I haven't ever tried to use 92-95 shocks in an 96-00 personally, but a buddy of mine swapped his gc coilovers from his old del sol into a 98 ek and he said they were fine for the first 5k or so, but now they rattle like a mo fo, i dont know if its because the struts are shot or what, but just from that it doesn't seem like a good idea.
but like i said before, they were used coils, so that might be why they are fcuked...

He put a tokico white in there and it just works like what it should be.

I just got done putting the struts off of an EG on my 98 4 door. Only difference up front is the EG has the mounts for the brake lines whereas the 96-00 doesn't use them. Rears, just use a couple washers to take up the slack. Fit great, work great...

wrong. the bushing in eg's is wider than an ek bushing, so the strut will have some play in it, just throw a couple washers in there and youll be fine

Yes:

The only difference on the rears is that '96-'00 LCA is thinner, so you need washers to fill in the gap. Nothing else is required.

I still have the washers that came with my Tokico rears (I have a 92) if anybody needs them for an EK install.
