Default Good Deal?

92 Prelude Si H23 with 120,000 miles and a cracked head for $500? Not to mention I have the same exact car except his is red. I really want it for parts and the block. It runs. I was tempted to just buy a new head, throw it on and sell it for a few thousand.

If it has a cracked head it has probably overheated and has other problems, like the cooling system or a blockage in the coolant passages. Is it a good deal? Its up to you, with some time and effort you could probably flip it and make a few bucks. It just depends what your time is worth.

*edit* sorry I didn't read the thread fully.

I say it's a good deal. It's always good to have a spare car for parts, especially if you can get the spare car for dirt cheap.

Well I actually know the guy pretty well and I know what happen to the car. He had a crack in the radiator, ran dry, and didn't notice the car was running hot till it was too late.
