Default T1R Sparrow installed 70MM but have issues with 02 sensor to TP>

ok guys, i just installed my T1R exhaust and test pipe with it but i have a small problem...well not small but a problem loll.

The O2 sensor is toooo low and keeps hitting things...what can i do to fix this probleM/ did i do something wrong or what?

there is this 90* angle thing (not sure what it is called) that your o2 sensor can screw into...you can find this at pep boys or autozone

it is used for the "defouler" mod...just so all of the exhaust gas doesnt go to the o2 sensor and give you a cel code. sorry i forgot what site i saw it on

You cannot mess it up. The flange to the exhaust goes only 1 way, it's diamond shaped. Turning it around would make it hit the transmission tunnel. My Berks points a little more sideways than down.

yes htey are but i haev to drive over 45 miles to drop off the new TP, come bcak another 45, go back another 45 to pick up the new one in about a month or so b/c they are sending the original ones back to fix the problem to japan then back to the states...thast over a months worth of ******* damn money and time for me. I dont have an extra 250 dollars sitting around on a 1200 dollar exhaust that came with a damn Recall that the damn SELLER TOLD ME NOTHING ABOUT WHEN I PURCHASED IT ON ******* MONDAY when they KNEW the damn issue on SATURDAY! This is turning into a total ******* issue for me

yea exactly adn tahts NOT including all the gas money, labor money and so forth, this is ******* pathetic considering its a damn 1200 dollar exhaust and not some ebay bull ****. apparently you dont get waht you pay for all the time anymore...even the same situation with some J's exhausts where the resonater breaks or what not...how does that happen on a 1500 dollar exhaust? its pathetic man just ******* pathetic.

well i think what you need to do is come over my place... cuz my bong isnt defective and itll def make u chill out and forget that your $1200 exhaust is recalled... actually itll make u forget about a alot of things... haha...

on a serious note... is it all of there exhausts that they are recalling or just the sparrow?

it isnt the exhaust but the bung on the TP...the whole where the 02 sensor goes.

yes, i just took it to an exhuast shop and had it relocated isntead of waiting 2 months and spending all that money.

word... prolly was a better call. does that void the warranty on it now? say the welds cracked, would they not honor the defect?
