I just picked up a Tenzo R muffler today and with the silencer on it is pretty damn quiet. With the silencer off, its still not that loud and sounds really good.

There are merchants in the marketplace that sell it, and of course on ebay.

Though I'd get the RSR because for the extra money you get a similar exhaust, but the RSR has 303 stainless for the piping instead of aluminized steel like the apexi.

So in terms of longevity and quality, RSR > apexi.

Both sound and perform great though. IF you live in an area that doesn't have rust problems like me, the the apexi should be fine. I've just seen too many rusted out WS2's.

How old is your Tanabe exhaust. They use high grade SUS304 stainless piping on all of their exhausts so it shouldn't rust at all. IMO save your money and just get the leak fixed.

My tanabe rusted like crazy.... car has been sitting for awhile and that's why. I don't wanna go ebay and buy wrong exhaust for my car. I just bought a wrong high flow cat and it doesn't fit my JDM TYPE R dc header 4-1 ..... it's helpless dealing with honda stuffs on ebay

ITS A MUFFLER.. HE IS ASKING FOR AND EXHAUST SYSTEM!

Big Difference, no **** it isnt going to be loud... you dont need a silencer for a stock exhaust with an after market muffler -pointless just putting an aftermarket muffler on a car-

Anyway.. to the OP: Like ppl have stated... Apexi World Sport is quiet as hell, and my Greddy Evo2 is nice and quiet too, and IMO has a WAY better note then the Apexi WS. Its only decently loud in vtec

Make your own in my opinion... Get a nice 14"-18" Resonator and deep muffler then take them to a good shop... Should be alot cheaper

I just installed a Tanabe SMH on my sol and it is alot quieter then my old stock exhaust with a ricer fart can. Really Deep sound. I purchased it from LSD Motorsports here on honda-tech. And it probably would be quieter but i also added a magnaflow/carsound Cat.
