Default D series build questions

I've been doing some searching about a d16z build and i still have a few questions. I have only seen posts from people that already have their build together. My Eg is currently running a D16z6 with the following mods:

Short Ram Intake
Skunk2 Stage 1 Cam
4-1 Header
Apex World Sport exhaust
Magstar Wires and Platinum Plugs
Adjustable Cam Gear Skunk2 (not on car)
Valve Springs and Retainers Skunk2 (not on car)

I was hoping to make a high compression N/A build and was wondering if this was possible in a roundabout $500 budget including the mods i already have. Also I can't seem to find out if I'm going to need any tuning or aftermarket electronics. Finally, is a high compression D safe for daily driving?

If you do it the right way with quality parts and no ebay crap, probably not.

ARP head studs are around $125
OEM HG $50 plus bore
various seals, gaskets, etc
bearings
machine work
pistons
rod bolts
some sort of EMS
dyno time + tuning

Assuming the build and tune are good and you run it on the right gas, yes it will be safe for daily driving.

Without a good head and bigger cam, I wouldn't bother with higher compression. Not worth it to pay more for gas if the car isn't used for some type of racing IMO.
