Default blox manifold on gsr (quick)

hey, i just need to know if you can just use the stock gsr throttle cable, bracket, and pulley instead of buying the itr ones. and if so, is there anything that you need to do in order to use the stock stuff. thanks

You will need an itr throttle cable, bracket, and non-gsr pulley...

You can re-use the GSR throttle pully. I know this because I know a guy who has his stock pully on his Skunk2 Manifold. I used a D series pully. I tried the GSR pully (after the fact) and it would indeed fit, but I had to modify a lil screw that lets the throttle body only close so far, so I could use the D series pully, and I can't use my GSR pully anymore

I did this 2 weeks ago so it's fresh in my mind

not only can you use the stock pulley, but i devised a method that you can actually use the tower bar as well.

Just attach the bracket thru the upper bolt hole only. But bolt it into the lower hole. So you're lowering the whole assembly. Use about an inch of washers or a 17mm bolt from the suspension and a washer (that's what i used) between the bracket and the throttle body. Use a 10mm (long ***) stock intake box bolt to fasten it all together.

You may have to bend the bracket a little bit to make it all fit. Be careful not to crack the throttle body mounting points. I will get some pics of my install later maybe.

I was just giving the information I know. I know someone who installed that manifold and used an itr throttle cable, bracket, and an ls pulley. So its not mis information. And sorry VTEC_du_ma_mai for skipping the part that said "instead of buying the itr ones." I was just trying to help.

its all good dood, i read about the non-gsr pulley thing also and i think that if you went the route of changing to the itr cable and bracket you would need to replace the gsr pulley cuz it pulls the wrong way. but i guess with the new info, you could just stay with the stock gsr cable, bracket, and pulley. thanks everyone for their help.

Mine worked with an LS pulley, which is a non-GSR pulley, so it isn't misinformation. Sounds more like operator error in your case.

I've got your operator error hangin buddy.

I was told you CAN NOT use the GSR pully... ANd that any B or D series ully woudl be fine.

Thats what I was arguing, the piece of info that you can't use the GSR pully. I"m happy the LS pully worked for you.. A D series pully did not work for me
