I was wondering if my main relay was bad would my car try to turn over but just sit there and try?

I have a EG hatch with a B16 in it. thanks

there is no spark

Brand New:
Distributor, cap, coil, rotor, wires, spark plugs, fuse is good too

 

Bad main relay won't prime the fuel pump = no fuel

 

Turn your key to the 2nd position, and listen for a quiet electrical buzz coming from your passenger side dash area. If you hear that noise, your main relay is working.

 

you stated coil...

could also be your igniter... its the most expensive of the dizzy internals.

if your fuel pump is priming, then i'm putting my money on the igniter/ICM
