Well... I got my totaled GSR back today.. so i was wondering what all i should take off of it? The front of the car took all the damage and everything from the fenders back is fine.. Obviously i'll save the Engine and Transmission.. we still need to test them to make sure they are ok.. but all in due time... Im looking to use a lot of the stuff off the car on my next car.. but im also looking to sell some of it.. So what would you guys recommend that i take off and put up for sale?

I'll prolly use the Engine/Tranny in a hatch if they arnt damage, I'll prolly use the seats in it as well.. I'll use the wheels and breaks on my hatch and more stuff to be decided.. What do you guys think? TIA

Strip the thing down to the sheet metal and asphalt. If you can't find a use for something right away, I'm sure someone else will end up needing it eventually.

 

I would like to buy two things that you probably have... 1) the rubber strip that covers the screws behind the driver's side window. Mine came loose and flew out last week, so now you can see like 3 silver screws there. 2) the plastic covers for the rear strut towers (if they are black and your car is a hatchback). Ima agree with invtec, strip down EVERYTHING. I mean like anything that u can keep keep it. Also when ur stripping it, keep the parts organized and do a mass for sale post on the parts u dont need. Keep the parts organized and u should be able to sell stuff u didnt even know ur car had. Have fun, and sorry to hear about the car.

 

I'll keep that in mine.. and i'll look for the part(s) you mentioned.. although mine is a 4-door so it prolly has neither.. but i'll look! Thanx guys.. any more comments/requests?

I helped tear the car apart for 4 hours today and everything, i mean EVERYTHING from the firewall back is in perfect condition. Im pretty sure he is going to keep the engine\tranny, suspension, brakes, wheels, interior (if not the seats i get dibs on them ). Anything else you guys may want is immaculate. Keep in mind it is a 4-door, not the hatch.

What color is the car? Is it the same color as the 1995 white? if so, I am very interested in the rear bumper cover. Mine is sorta messed up at the moment, so I am looking around for a replacement, preferably one that doesn't need to be painted ^_^

 

you're in luck. It's a 94 4-door in white. Bumper cover is in perfect condition. About the door handles, do you want the inside ones or the outside ones?

We will get a digi camera soon so you guys can check out the damage and the goods.

I live in Columbus Ohio... And Yes.. Everything from the firewall back is perfect.. The rear bumper i would prolly want around 200 - 250 for.. the rear door handles... around 25 - 30 bucs for both...
