Default Honda Civic chick needs help with overheating issues!!

I have a 93 Honda Civic EG hatchback. Runs great, today though after work after about five or so minutes the temp started to climb to high on my gage. I noticed it would do this while in a high gear and go back to normal when i slowed down (second or lower) or stopped, and then climbed back up to high once i got going again after getting into 4th or overdrive. No smoke, running perfect, nothing out of the ordinary except the temp gage reading high. Coolant low or what???? Please write back with any and all advice.

Well have you checked the coolant? **Please do not check it while the engine is hot**

I had the same problem with my 93 DX when I did a B series swap. Turned out to be a bad ground, so I would say go through and see if there all making good contact.

O snap, I just noticed she was in Texas too! Welcome to Honda-Tech!
