Default Has anyone tried a mini-me swap on a D15B6 (88 CRX HF)???

i've read the whole mini-me swap section in here, and i've searched for information about a D15B6 (88' CRX HF) mini swap with a D16Z6, but i can't find anything out about it. i want to do it but i don't want to go get everything to do the swap just to find out that it won't work. Does anyone have any information on this?

you might have to get different pistons because the hf is an 8 valve and only has 2 recesses in each piston and the vtec head will need 4... but they might clear

now that i think about it, that block isnt made to rev very high, so durability would also be an issue. youre probably better off getting a different block

i was just wondering if it would be worth it. someone i know is selling a complete engine and ecu for 200 so i think i'm just going to do that instead. the pistons would just be too much of a hassle. might as well just rebuilt the z6 engine and still be able to drive around for the time being. one more question. do i need a different wire harness or can i just use my old one that's in my hf right now??
