i have a 98 gsr, it's my first time taking the motor out but im having trouble taking the harness off from inside the car, do you have to take the heatercore off?....i disconnected everything from the engine bay just need to pull everything out

i looked under the dash and it seems that its connected to other stuff.

any help will be appreciated

 

why do you want to take out the harness? what kinda motor and what year is it?

 

Uh.. i think it's a 98 spec B18C1

 

yeah but i mean what kinda motor will be going in there? and if he is gsr then there would be no reason to take out the harness. because it already is wired for vtec. and if even if he were converting it to obd1 he still wouldn't have to take it out.

disconnect the engine harness at the passenger side shock tower and on the driver side shock tower near the firewall. from the passenger side shock tower the harness goes to the ecu and underneath the dash, to pull that part out you'd obviously need to pull the dash out, but there's no point.
