Default 2001 VW Jetta Turbo

my reason for posting this is because i have a question about the motor. When the car starts up its fine, but once youve been driving for about 30 min. (the car is all warmed up) the motor makes a ticking noise once it drops below a grand on the tach when you're stopped. anyone know wat it could be. and please dont say "because its a volkswagen" because i'm sure i'll get this response on this site. i've had it checked out and there is nothin wrong w/ the car i was just told i'll have to learn to live w/ the noise. heres some pics to keep it in this section.
