Default 6th gen (01) accord 4cyl UPPER balljoint replacement (questions)

Hey there fellow accord enthusiasts!!

I need to replace my upper balljoints (well the whole kit but i know for the lower balljoint and bearing you need an hydraulic press so i'm bringing my whole knuckle assembly to the shop)

I know the 5th gen upper balljoint comes with the upper arm, it's like a whole single unit. But when i went to the autopart, for my 2001 they had the upper arm by itself, or the balljoint by itself. It didnt came as one single unit.. Since i'm low on funds (mags, complete suspension with bushings, full timing/bal.shaft belt, waterpump, fluids, hoses, well, the full tuneup kit lol), i only got the upper balljoint...

But, i was looking at the assembly on my car and it doesnt really look like they can be separated..Anyone here ever did it by himself or knows about it?

Also, the upper balljoint i bought (Moog Automotive), unlike the lower one (circular movement), can only move in one way. (front-back, or left-right, depending on how you look at it). Am i supposed to mount it so it goes left/right or front to back? -may be hard to picture-

i'll try posting pics soon

thanks for your help!
