check engine light on.... light just came after I replace the clutch and the light wasn't on before the clutch replacement.. any ideas where to start looking...89 honda crx si stock motor...

 

Check over your work, you probally left something unpluged or pulled something off. Check your codes by pulling up the pass. side carpet and count how many times your ecu flashes.

 

where do I look under the pass side carpet for the ecu?? when I find it what do I have to do to count the lights ---switch vehicle on or what?

 

It is where your feet would be on the passenger side if you stretched them out. Pull up the carpet and you will see a goldish kick panel covering your ecu. There will be a hole in it. Turn your key to the on posistion and you will see a blinking red light in that hole. Count how many times it blinks and get back to us. It could be more than one code,so make sure you double check.
