What are these things called ?
on the Asian 07' V6 accord, when the hood opens, you don't have to put the stick under the hood to keep it open like you normally do.
But isntead, they're held up by these gas-filled-struts.
Quite curious, since I have it on my car,
Is there a official name for this ?
Are they on the North American accords as well ?

they sell them at autozone and other places, Im sure you can rig them up to fit just about any car.
I got one off ebay to my my mr2, because its cool, and it didnt have the stock prop, so working on the car was a PITA.
I'd love to do it on the 93 accord i have now, should cost like 30 bux.
