They would probably know the answer to that. If you are running stock axles, be sure to make the next weekend available to replace them. Stock axles are weak, especially on slicks.

i wouldn't say that, i know plent of people running slicks on stock axles, what breaks axles with slicks is when people dont have enough power to spin them and they just snap an axle
match your slicks accordingly, preload and you will be good at moderate power levels on stock axles
