If you notice in the first picture, theres a bit of distortion JUST below your liscence plate, had you been running however many tenths of a second slower, that would have blurred out your plates for the picture.

Since there are in fact pictures here, couldnt that be used as evidence to dish out a ticket (yes, with points) to the driver of that car?

I cant speak for Texas, and have not lived in FL long enough to be familiar with the policy, but in NC and PA I am certain that an officer must spot you to be issued points. A camera capture will ONLY result in a fine.

If no points are involved, just pay the fine and be done with, i woudlnt even bother fighting it, you could potentially place yourself in more trouble if you take it to court and try and deny it when there are clear pictures of your vehicle running it.
