Default project: GSR w/Boosted B18C5

i thought i would share my project and see what other owners think about it.
a lil about the car. i picked it up 2-3 weeks ago, with the swap. 2 days(thursday) later i spun a conn rod bearing in cylinder 1 and the work began. i had plans to rebuild the bottom but not this soon or well....

chassis is a 95' primer black GSR, it need a LOT of work!!.

The motor

the plan is to get the body back to stock with some goodies CF hood, USDM type R fenders with side marker, Type R rear lip, Type R rear spoiler, JDM type R seats and black carpet. maybe some 15" Rota slip steam painted gold.

future plans for the motor is turbo( don't know what size yet) JE 9:0 pistons, Eagle rods, APR head studs. the head will stock for now until i figure everything out with teh turbo. still in the reseaching stage of it. but the goal will be 400whp-450whp as a summer DD.

it going to be a long project and plans for it to be done in summer 08'.

LMK what you guys think, all comments are welcome.

thanks, will try to add to this and keep it updated as i can, but the work will be long.

i'm still having a lil issue about what part/color conn rod bearings to order. when i have all of that, the motor(block and head) is going to the shop to be cleaned, pepped and reassy then leak test(compession tested)

i was told by 3 shops that the head is unrepairable, due to the fact that no one makes over sizes cam for a p73 head well hondas.

so let me know if you have a p73 head F/S.
i'm get all new JUN internal and will be running either Shunk2 cams or something along that line. mostly after teh C5 is done i will use the parts and build the LS bottom end and get a p72(gsr) head and use the internals from the p73 head and go N/A since i have all of the parts already.

then i will have 2 nicely built motor. N/A for autoX and boosted for the 1/4 track and race night.

Default B18A1 install

well it been long and hard to find any decent motor around me. **** it took me 2-3 months just to find this one. still didn't get the head yet.

the motor is just to get me around for the winter, as the C5 is getting built. hopefully by the spring the paint and body work is done and the motor will also be ready.

the motor i got is a B18A1. it's in a really dirty, i mean dirty. i have never since a motor so dirty. but what can you do. going to be droping it in wed, but i have a few ?? if it's going to work or not. but gonna give it a shot and go from there.

on to the pics.

spayed down with a whole can of carb cleaner and what ever cleaner i found...

look at the dirt

shity red paint value cover.

so i have a lot of work a head of me to get this this clean and in the car before teh upstate NY shity weather comes around.

i have a few ?? to ask.

1. i picked up a dizzy off of a 92' or 93' 4 door auto from the yard today and the plugs are def from my OBD1 harness. did they make ODB0 that year? or i should be looking for a 94'- 95' dizzy? or they do have OBD1 93'-94' dizzy and i just didn't get the right one?..

TIA for the anwser.
