i just got a prelude '00 its a five speed with a vtech engine. i was wondering if it was SH model. i dont have the manual so i cant really look it up.

 

well how bout check the back of the car if it says type sh? lol. That's a start.

What made you choose a Prelude?

 

There are a few ways to tell if it's an SH... does it have the straight 5-spoke wheels? Look at the transmission from under the hood, what's the code on it? SH models come with a "SH" decal on the back. Sounds like a nice car, good job choosing a 5 speed...lucky.

 

this has been stated many times before .. but a few things: on your door you should have little little lights that only SH's have, when you start up you should have an ATTS light, the rims as stated before, the leather shift ****, if your oil filter is on the bottom of your car, there are a bunch of signs, but i'm guessing if you have no idea, then it is NOT an SH.

 

my sh doesn't have the stickers in the back, i was nervous i bought a base that someone made to look like an sh. if theres a brake light in the wing but no brake light in the back window, ive read that means its a SH. the atts light is also a give away. one question for everyone does the driver side floor have a lil button or something to attach the floor mat to so it doesn't slide around while im driving. my 00 Si had one.
