any of you guys have this problem. i can hit all the gears but when i push down and up to 5th it dosent go into gear. anyone can help pm me or post it up. it did work a one time but even then is was a little hard to get it into reverse.

 

the shifter linkage is adjustable. SOunds like it needs one.

 

try disconnecting the shift rod from the shifter and see if it will go into reverse by hand.

Hey Chris take the Hand Cuff out of the tranny and put 5th gear back in! J/K

um yep. it goes in reverse. just put some 5.9 axles and now it dosent go in. something had to move. it worked at one time but it was still hard to get in reverse then.

 

Did you try adjusting it? The small round part with the 3 bolts in it for adjustment.

Sorry dome/Chris, I don't have any experience with the shifter box. bobmenuts on here had one BUT he sold it so we now don't have anyone that has it local and tried it out

 

i tried that tony no luck. i moved it each way ( 1/8 inch ) as far as it would go still no luck. when you push down on the shifter it the rod supposed to rotate to the right. i thought it was supposed to rotate.
