Help! shifter pops out of gear
Wussup fellow honda-techs, i am having some problem with my shifter. i was on the freeway today and i had shifted to 5th gear. all of a sudden after a couple of minutes in 5th gear the shfiter pops out of gear. can someone help me with this. thanks

Sounds to me that your transmission's synchronizes may be worn out of specs...resulting in you car's fifth gear popping out.

I believe this happens bc of the shifter forks... The fork for 5th gear might have gone a little bad causing the gear to pop out... Do you rest your arm on the shift **** while you drive? Do you put any weight on the shifter while it's in gear?

is it really? dang how much is that going to cost me? i hope its nothing major that i can't fix. can anyone tell me how to do this on my own? i thank all the h-t members who are trying to help. its greatly appreciated.
