Default Any regrets or dislikes with the DC5? Owners chime in.

Hey guys, Well Im looking for buy an 05+ DC5
rsx type s

I have allot of people I know trying to talk me out of buying it.
I want it because Im ready to upgrade from my DA. Which isn't horrible
but It just doesn't make me feel the same anymore.

Im selling her and wanting to buy the dc5

<FONT SIZE=""6"">I was wondering if you guys have any regrets, or dislikes about the dc5.</FONT>

I know their freaking heavy, my friends weighs 3660
that almost 1500 more than my da....

But I still want one aside from how heavy they are.

If I do get one, Id be buying a comptech SC, Hondata,
I/H/E and susp.

Thanks

ya they only weigh about 2700. Not that heavy considering the power and luxery your getting. Theyre freakin awesome cars. It has its lil quirks like every car does which you'll discover once you actually own it. But overall you cant go wrong.

Dude test drive one.. you'll fall in love with it.. 3660 where did you get that weight.. that is waaaaaaay off. They're heavy but not dramtically heavy and they can make power. i'm going to buy another one

You have to look at the Curb weight.. that is the weight of the car.

Just FYI.. that's the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). Basically, the most that the car should ever weigh. That includes the car itself, plus however many adult passengers, full tank of gas, etc etc. For cars, it's pretty much a useless figure.. but it's important for trucks.

One thing EVERYONE tells me is that it feels like your driving a boat. Iv driven them and its true, they dont seem that stable.

You should get a DC2 since you have never had the 94+ integra. They are REALLY good cars, and if you boost one, your good to go. Only problem is theft.

like everyone said
that information is incorrect
3660 is more like a chrysler 300c or something
i love my car and i think you will share the same feeling with yours
the only thing i regret is not buying a more luxury car with 4drs but thats just my story

um.... no.... try driving a cadillac or crown vic or something in that nature and then come back and talk to me. If you still think the rsx feels like a boat then get some buddy club RSD's or some other firm suspension and some sway bars and I bet you wont have that problem again.
