Default Head Gasket Help

Ok my friend has a 97 Lude and his head is shaved .020 and the person puting his car back togeter says he needs at least a .070 Head Gasket, but the biggest we found was a Cometic .030. Now can he use the 030. Cometic with no problems? Also his car was set up for NA but now has a turbo kit on it. Forgot to add compression is JDM 10.6

first of all cometic will make any size gasket you want.

if your trying to get it back close to stock go w/ a .050

if your trying to lower the compression more than it was stock (for the boost) then go w/ a thicker gasket like the .070 you mentioned. that is a thick gasket though.

if its just a stock bottom end you will be fine going back close to stock as long as your not running alot of boost.
