Default F22B1 and H23A1

ok Im getting ready to put the head on the block and I just wanted to make sure before I put the head on if I have to plug the hole on the F22 block for V-TEC, I looked at the H23 block and there is a small plug in it and I want to make dure it will not affect anything, thanks.

NVM I just pulled the plug out of the H23 and Im going to put it into the F22.

How well did that match up? What head gasket did you use? custom?

Everything matched right up. I used the F23 head gasket and it seems to work great.

ok, Im having problems with the timing belt. Im using the h23 timing belt, tensioner, crank gear, and a f22 non-vtec water pump. The belt is to loose, and I cant get it to tighten up any further. Any help?
