Which skunk2 exhaust system are you running? Do you have a catalytic converter still? Are you running an aftermarket header? More times than not when a company claims their exhaust as street legal, its with OE headers, OE cat, and their catback.

Here's a clue: Call Skunk2 tomorrow and discuss it with them.
You'll want to check your local vehicle code beforehand, since it is painfully obvious that you don't know anything about it.

regardless there gonna send u to go get the test done.. last time i asked that the cop said "yea u have paperwork, but how do we know you didnt modify it since you had it?" so ur still gonna thru the hassle of gettin it sound tested so y bother wit the proof. if its gonna pass its gonna pass w/o it.

WELL I LIVE IN WATER TOWN NYC AND RUNNING TODA 421 HEADERS TO A HIGH FLOW CAT TO A SKUNK2 EXHAUST I NEVER HAD NO TROUBLE BEFORE UNTIL NOW I HAVE 21 DAYS WHERE CAN I GO GET A DB TEST DONE ANY MUFFLER SHOP

50 state legality refers to smog output of the muffler and has nothing to do with decibel level. to find a decibel reading facility, call your dmv they will show you where to go>>>which will be most likely the state ref's location.
in california, the only way to test your decibel level is to get a modified muffler ticket which sends you to the ref.

where I live in va the pull me over all the time and I just pay it. Some cops where I live will just pull you over to talk to u and just see what you got. I tell every thing that I have do then tell them I do race, well no on the street. some times if you just talk to them and are nice they will let you go.
