yup the Front went down the drain =[






i hit a pontiac... an suv pontiac no damage to his car...only a little plastic scrach. like those known scratches under your lip from dips... his bumper was a non painted bumper if u know what i mean... those cars with bumpers that comes non painted off the dealer u know? so hes gonna get an estimate on how much it cost on monday so ill pay out of my pocket instead of having to report it to my insurance...how much do u think its gonna cost? i meant his damage was the size of 5 of these little yellow smiley faces >> ahahaha yea...i offered him 100 dollars and he said "im sorry bro. if the estimate is 75 then imma take 75, if u estimate is 100 imma take 100... as of right now i cant really say"......
so yea..i don't know hopefully its about 150.....he should have at lease looked at my car and go "DAMN" compared to his little nicks :/ oh well

oh yea.. his bumper is like this factory non painted shouldn't be much huh?

ill will be taking some pictures of the damages today so check back in about an hour









what do u guys think? have my insurance deal with it or it shouldn't be that bad to go jdm front?
one of my friend said it shouldn't be that bad cuzz the upper top radiator support is gonna come off either way...

Dont do a JDM front end, ... your fender looks good, it looks like only the bumper, hood, headlight and radiator support are messed up.

You can get away with fixing everything to USDM specs for ALOT cheaper then if you were going to go with a JDM front.

JDM front would be worth it if both headlights, both fenders, hood, bumper, and radiator support were messed up.

also, what did you zip tie your license plate to?

why dont you get a estimate for your front end,if its the same as the cost of J front then go for it. if its not keep it usdm. clean car btw

have to agree jdm front time insurance should just cut you a check to get the damage fixed

 

i think ill just take this as an excuse to get a jdm front.... but i seriously would so much rather have non of this happened.... im still bumed out about this.... couldn't eat couldn't sleep....='[ i have work tonight at 1030 too

as far as jdm front...im picking it up tomarrow in long beach and probably get it installed by july 7th... ill keep you guys posted

don't they use reinforcment of stock hood underneath? and that cf is nothing more than a skin. don't look like there was enough pressure to crack it.

wow man i know whats that like, i rear-ended two people when i first got my license, same spot as you too, what did you try to just get into the shoulder before you hit them but just couldn't make it, thats what happened to me, the frame may be pushed in, it was for me...good luck, and what the post above mine said, do what you can to keep t safe while it's at a body shop, thieves suck!
