Ok iv done a search but didn't really know what to search for, so hopefully you guys can help me out.. i just bought a 1996 civic coupe with a h22 swap. the guy said he broke and axle the day before i left for Fl from Ga to pick it up so i got it for a great price. When I put the car in neutral and let off the clutch the car trys to stall.. what would be the cause of that??

 

Could be the pressure plate or some other part of the tranny being messed up.

Maybe the release bearing?

 

Friends younger brother had an issue like this, his H22 would do a simliar thing. Turns out he had installed soemthing backwards or wrong, either clutch or pressure plate.
