Default Black headlight housing

Alright I've been searching for a pic of a 91 civic with black headlight housings, or pics of the blacked out headlights. When you spray the lights, is there supposed to be a reflector part inside the housing that you don't spray? Cause I just sprayed the whole housing black and now I just thought - "Isn't there supposed to be a reflector piece still in there? I would post pics but no good cameras here only cell phones.

....so the reflector is the piece in the back of the housing? And I'm assuming the lights won't project with them painted black?

Noooooooo....lol. So what is I try to scratch the black paint off the reflector? Not like I sanded it down or anything, just sprayed on it. Oh well, anyone knows where I can get some Stanleys for a 91 US spec Civic HB?

I was thinking that too until someone was like the dealers don't give you the stanley headlights sometimes. But I'll check it out though thanks everyone.

If u want to remove it, try using paint thinner. It will remove the paint but it could also damage the reflector.
