i just bought a 1992 Gs-r DB2. been driving it a few weeks now (owner didn't give enough TLC) and it seems like it doesn't pull as hard as it should. v-tec still kicks in at 5600-5800 but doesn't pull as if i was only pressing the gas half way down. i noticed if i floor it for a few seconds it pulls just until 3500rpm and begins to feel sluggish as if i'm letting go of the gas a little. i also kill a lot of gas when hitting v-tec. anyone have any suggestions on what the problem is?

 

fuel filter, complete tune up, oil change.
