Hello all, I am a bit worried about my Civic:

My a/c just stoped working yesterday and there is a loud noise coming out of engine when a/c is on. To make things worse there is also noise when a/c is off, it sounds like a grinding noise coming somewhere from the timing belt zone.

Any ideas?

 

might be your A/c compressor

 

I thought of that too, but when a/c is off its making ticking noise in timing belt area.

 

exactly. i had this problem on another car when ac was of it was like screeching , after i turn ac on it stops. somehow this problem went away tho lol
