Where do I hook the green wire for an aftermarket tachometer on a 2000 accord SE

Why dont you follow the instructions that came with the tach? If thats not an option, then you could atleast tell us what the expletive the green wire is for. I mean, if it was my tach, I would want to know what the wires are for......

OK the green wire is supposed to hook to the blue wire right by the Power Control Module (which is the RPM output), but when I do that the tach only moves from 0 to about 1500 RPM when I can tell by the sound of the engine it's running a good 5000 RPM. Do I need a Tach filter, and if so where can I get one?
