Default Omni power coilovers

I received my omni power coilovers for my 91 civic si and tried to install them yesterday. Problem is the shock does not fit into the front lower forks. I am hearing from people that I need the forks from a eg and they will work perfectly. Is this true? Need to know soon so I can send them back if they are in fact the wrong ones. Thanks in advance.

Do companys really make shocks for a particular side, especially considering that these are full coilovers. And If they did give me eg ones are eg forks compatible with the ef's.

Yea check if they possibly sent you the wrong ones first.

I believe back when omni first came out with their coilovers they didnt have an application for the EF so people used the eg ones and replaced the forks. But now omnipower makes the right application for the EF because when i had purchased my about a year ago i had no problems with installation.

But if not i have some eg forks

Well I already put the rears on because I started on them first and If using eg forks will work and are a direct fit I will do that. Also, what do you guys think about just having them machined. Its only barely to small for the coilover to fit into.

Yeah that is what happened they had a first, second and third batch of full coilover. the first one had some issues and the second one you had to use eg parts to make them work on a ef but the third batch is a direct bolt on to the ef chasis and i have the third batch on mt 91 hatch and it performs lovely.
