Default cracks in block casting?

Hey there. I have a build-up thread going on in the EF/CRX forum that is located here:

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1937344

The issue I am having is that when I cleaned my block I started noticing some cracks on the exterior and interior of the block casting. I am obviously wondering if this invalidates the use of this block as something to rebuild for the 200 wheel horsepower that I have as a realistic goal.

here are the pictures so you won't have to read through the entire buildup thread to find what I'm concerned about.

Looks normal to me. The 'cracks' are not really cracks, just casting anomalies.

that sounds good to me. I would still like to have more opinions to rule out any errors

(not to say you're wrong, you seem to have a very good reputation among those on this forum, including myself).

feeling somewhat better. I am just worried because you can feel the imperfections with your finger. some are really pronounced.

wow, that's interesting. I guess my 1st gen b16a is lucky in that it doesn't have that many of those, well at least there aren't any that I can see anywhere on it.

I just didn't have anything else to compare the LS block to other than what I own here.
