Help! s2000 manual transmission fault?!?!
i was going up the road with second gear,suddenly i heard a strange sound, i stopped the car and and i tryed shifting in all gears and there was a sound in each gear i shifted, if i press clutch,then there's no sound,if i release clutch there's even sound in neutral. what should be the problem? did anyone experianced it?

tob will usually make noise when the clutch is in. He's saying it stops when the clutch is in. What kind of sound is it?

Umm..it will make noise with the clutch NOT depressed. It stops when the clutch IS depressed

umm when the clutch is not depressed the bearing is not in use so it wouldn't make noise. When you press the clutch the bearing slides and contacts the fingers of the pressure plate which spin the bearing. If the bearing is screwed up this is when you'll hear it.

in my country not a honda dealer.. & service honda center... but mechanics does not have a instruments to repair my transmission...
