Default Choosing FI cams...

I'm currently running GSR cams with ITR valvetrain on a stock b16 head with stock vavles.

Im looking to upgrade cams before i hit the dyno up.

Can i run Skunk Pro1 cams on mysetup or should i just settle with Type R's??

Thanks!

You will need to upgrade your valvetrain for Pro 1's. ITR valvetrain is pretty pansy.

What kind of numbers are you looking for? GSR cams a great for a boosted application. I don't think its necessary to upgrade your cams especially if your not looking for high numbers. Also, like stated above, you would need to upgrade your vavletrain. Skunk2 pro 1's have been tested against GSR and they yielded quit a bit more power.

stick with the GSR's unless you want to change your valve train, then by all means...go skunk2 pro's

With ITR valvetrain you might as well run ITR cams. A lot better than GSR cams but more expensive as well.

I was going to say, if you have a nice free flowing exhaust wheel, if the pressure ratios are right, you can omit the "FI."
