Any one from close to the Miami area ?
How about the Biscayne area ?
How is the scene in Florida ?

I may attend a college down there in January or so , so i am interested in how stuff looks down there .
How about the racing scene . Is that booming ?

 

I believe they passd a law that states if your racing at any time and anywhere you go to jail, no more ticket. I am a Fl Resident in sarasota area but live in MD

 

The Miami area ranked #2 with car thefts, and #1 with the rudest drivers in the country. The scene is blowing up down here, but I usually just see the ricers though.

 

Not all of us are ricers...thank god....s.fla is the place to be especially if your going to school there is tons of **** see and people to do....err **** to do and people to see yeah and theft is real bad downere....you cant even go sleeper without some eyein the car. Just be overly **** about where you go and park and you should be alright....no promises.

its one of the best places ive been i always get home sick for s.fla

I'm from West Palm Beach, and it's always boomin around here. Theft isnt that bad up here tho, but when I go to miami I'm always **** about where I park.

 

Im from the Tampa area, pretty good scene, unfortunatedly there is a whole lot of rice, but you'll get that anywhere you go. As far as i know the streetracing law hasnt been passed yet, but yes they are trying to pass a law where if youre caught recing you car is impunded and you go straing to jail. hope it doenst pass

 

its not a state law i know that, i got a bogus racing on highway ticket like3 weeks ago all it is 93 dollars and 3 points

Miami checkin' in !

The scene is ok down here... getting bigger every day... alot of rice, but you will get that wherever you go.
There are quite a few fast cars, just gotta know the right people.

I love S. FLA, it's great ! Beaches, Clubs, great weather mostly and HOT CHICKIES... (*cough*Topless*couhg*beaches*ack-um*) South Beach... feelin' da heat. <---fave Will Smith quote.

*Tamps has great highways tho...

im 30 mins north of west palm in port st lucie, going to miami for school in the fall

 

I'm in West Palm Beach, and the scene along with racing is booming all over S. FL. really. The nearest Drag Strip is here In WPB... I see & know people from Miami that come here all the time. As for the ricers... well it's like X2BOARD says, you get that everywhere so The biggest weekend hangout that I know of would have to be Tower Shops in Ft. Lauderdale, but then again, lots of ricers there too. Even still, after Towers, people usually get together for racing.

Anyway, a lot can change from here till January, so it's too early to say really. From the way things seem so far... it can only get better

EDIT: Btw, this is my 2nd GSR... my first one got stolen beginning this year. A friend of mine's ITR was stolen about 2 months ago... so yes, theft is bad even up in WPB.
